At 5:30 pm, just after Engine 574 and Rescue 57 returned from a house fire with Robert Fulton, QFD and LEMSA were alerted to a tractor trailer fire at Scotland Road and Clearview Drive in East Drumore Township. Units arrived to find a rear axle fire on a milk tanker. One line was stretched off of Engine 572 and the fire extinguished. Additional members from Tanker 57 and Rescue 57 assisted with overhaul and spill control. QFD Fire Police closed the roadway.
Just after returning from this run, units were on the street again for a reported building fire with Bart Township. The assignment was downgraded, but 57 Fire Police were requested to close down the roadway. They were available in 1 hour.
