At 2:08 pm, Truck and Rescue 57 responded to assist the Refton Community Fire Company on a chimney fire in the 100 block of Truce Road in Providence Township. Units arrived and assisted with getting to the roof and also assisting inside with the stove and flue pipe. The fire in the chimney was out and there was no extension or any damage. The units were available in about 1 hour.
