Just before noon Tuesday, Engine 574 and Tanker 57 responded to assist the Robert Fulton Fire Company on a barn fire on Arcadia Trace Road in Fulton Township. 89 units arrived with a 80′ X 40′ building fully involved. Engine 574 finished out a supply line from a pond on the property with Engine 89-2, stretched several hand lines and also supplied Union Fire Company No. 1 ~ Oxford, PA Ladder 21. Tanker 57 assisted in the tanker shuttle. In all, fire was found in the main fire building, a small fire in another barn lot and in one of the dwellings on the property, along with several large trees.
While on this incident, Brush 57 and Gordonville Fire & EMS Co. Tanker 43 (standing by at QFD) responded to a woods fire with Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company, and Engine 574, 572 and Rescue 57 later responded to assist Bart Township Fire Company on an outbuilding fire which was handled quickly by 51 units who cancelled the remainder of the assignment.
