At 6:20 pm Tuesday evening, Engine 574 and Tanker 57 were alerted to assist the Lampeter Fire Company (54) on a house fire on South View Road in West Lampeter Township. On arrival, Engine 574’s crew went to work at the scene while Engine 574 was directed to pump from the porta-tank to supply Engine 542. Tanker 57 was part of the tanker shuttle and dumped one load of water. Units remained on the scene several hours until clearing at 11 pm.
