QFD Volunteers responded to several calls, and two working fires over the weekend. The first fire was dispatched just before 5 pm on Saturday to assist the Union Fire Company at a working building fire in the 400 block of Market St. in Oxford Borough. Truck and Rescue 57 responded with the crews operating on the roof, inside, and as the Rapid Intervention Company. Rescue 57 was again sent to the same building just after 9:15 pm to assist with an additional fire. On Sunday evening, just after the last score of Super Bowl 51, Engine 574, 572 and Tanker 57 responded to a shed fire in the 1600 block of Spruce Grove Road in Little Britain Township assisting Robert Fulton FC. Crews arrived behind Engine 89-1, who's crew was knocking the fire down. The Engine crews checked for extension in the dwelling and the Tanker assisted with water supply.
