On Saturday, several members were at several different functions.
Engine 574 and a crew were at the LCFA Pequea Lane training site for the practical portion of Truck Company Operations 1. This was the last part of the 16 hour class that several members of the Southern End Training Group hosted. A day full of ventilation, forcible entry and searches worked the group from 8 am to 4 pm.
Also on Saturday morning, Engine 572 and crew went to the Elkton Inaugural Antique Fire Apparatus Muster in Elkton, MD. There were about 40 rigs of all shapes and ages that attended. Engine 572 brought home 2 awards for the day.
To wrap it up, QFD responded to two calls between 9:45 pm and midnight.
