Tonight, 15 members took advantage of the opportunity to utilize the Class A burn building at the LCFA Pequea Lane Training Center. This facility provides instructors and medical care along with the experience of burning in a “pallet and straw” facility.
The burns were on the 1st and 2nd floor and required the forcing of an outward swinging door to get in. Hoseline management and the quickness to get to the seat of the fire was the main goals of the night.
The members showed that their training and dedication has been paying off. The evolutions went great and the crews overcame all obstacles.
Thanks to all of the members who turned out on this busy Tuesday before the fair. Thanks to the instructors and the LCFA for the use of the facility. Thanks also to LCWC for checking on us when we sent out the accidental emergency alerts on the radios….Sorry.
The training Committee is proud of the way all of you performed and showed that what we have been teaching, you have been learning. Great Job!!
